Greetings from Argentina!

(where it's very cold; it’s 50 degrees, and that’s cold for us.)

Praise the Lord! We had a great month in New Life Baptist Church where I have the privilege of serving the Lord. Recently, we had Children's Day. This is an important day in Argentina. It’s similar to Mother’s Day, except it is a national holiday for the purpose of celebrating children. We held a special day for them in our church. We were expecting about 30 youngsters, but the Lord blessed us with 60 children and 24 adults who came for the first time and heard the gospel. Many people were saved that day. Glory to God for the wondrous conversions to Christ!

This month, while I was out visiting house to house, I met a couple, Juan and Marina, on the street. I spoke with them about the Lord, and they came to church and were gloriously born again! I praise our wonderful Saviour for their salvation. On that same day, I also spoke with a very kind lady named Olga. She also came to church on Sunday and put all her trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for her salvation! Please pray for spiritual growth in the lives of these new converts to Christ.

The country of Argentina also desperately needs your prayers. It is on the verge of an economic collapse. Inflation has risen to nearly 55 percent, and interest rates are at 70 percent. We are currently in campaign season for the presidential election, which will be held on the 27th of October. Conditions here are very unstable, and they are creating considerable uncertainty amongst the people. Please remember to pray for Argentina.

I praise and thank the Lord for about 35 meetings in which I will be speaking next year. Please continue to pray for more meetings. If you would like to have us in your church, please let us know!
